‘A Place to Call Home’ by Suhmayah Banda

A Place to Call Home

Two brothers live an adventurous life, playing and learning as they go. When Tancho and Charlie’s parents announce that the family are to travel around Europe in a caravan, the boys soon begin to wonder what living somewhere else will mean for them.

This is another book in The Adventures of Tancho and Charlie series, written by Suhmayah Banda with lovely illustrations by Sarah-Leigh Wills. Like ‘Charlie the Fearless and Tancho the Brave’ this is a well-written and entertaining story about the places we live and the meaning of home. With a strong educational aspect that doesn’t infringe on the story, ‘A Place to Call Home’ is another delightful book from a very talented author.

A charming book that explores the meaning of home and belonging.
